Thank you to the hundreds of contributors from dozens of countries around the world. Thank you to Julia Lambie, creator of Flying Wish Paper, for donating product for use in the film. And a special thank you to Ryan's mom, Julie, for believing in this project. Julie, your courage and love is an inspiration for me -- and all of us.

For more about Ryan's story and this project, watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk2qch2jiG4

And now that we've made our wishes, let's go out and make them happen.

Note: Many factors contribute to suicide risk. Because lesbian, gay and bisexual youth often experience a hostile environment, they are 4x more likely to attempt suicide than their straight peers. Those who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness are at a heightened risk for attempting suicide. You have the power to be the help someone needs by showing you care, by acting on your wish and by being a friend. • Thank you so much for posting this video. Even though I have never met any of the people in this video, it's nice to know that there is support out there. My tears just won't stop, but they are tears of joy. Thank you.

  • @imasonfree go get shot. please. People have no choice in whether they are straight or gay now I in fact am completely straight but I think that the difference between gay and straight people is one that should only effect their relationships with their partners and should not in fact effect the way others treat them or act towards them or the way you feel the need to say all this stuff about gay people well I am sorry but they could probably say a he'll of a lot worse back so please go get shot

  • i wish my mom would just accept the fact that im bi and stop saying "its just a phase, you'll grow out of it, you dont actually feel that way"

  • I wish for everyone to find someone true to them and never be alone...

  • I wish that every lgb teen and supporters of lgb teens could come true 

  • I wish that everyone has somebody beside him wich listens, love him and hug him when he is sad.

  • I wish that hate was erased and love was put in its place 3

No one should have to live in fear of being judged. No one should have to hide who they are. Everyone is equal, and everyone should be treated that way.

Don't be a victim. Be proud of who you are, and stand up for what is right.

  • I wish that someday transgenders won't have to debate their gender with unaccepting people.

  • B.S can someone please tell me where can I get the wishing "paper thing"

    thanks!

  • wow this is sad... My wish is for everyone to be happy.

    <3

  • I wish that everyone can get the support, acceptance, and love they deserve no matter what. I wish I didn't feel "lucky" that my own family was so supportive. It shouldn't be "lucky" to get what you need from your loved ones.

  • I wish for more acceptance in the world, so everybody can be who they want to be, without hate
