Camp Ondessonk serves 8 to 16 year old male and female campers on 983 amazing acres adjacent to the Shawnee National Forest of Southern Illinois. Activities include swimming, kayaking, horseback riding (over 75 horses), nature exploration, archery, and more. Living areas include rustic tree houses, cabins, and a site with bunks built into a rock outcropping.
Camp Ondessonk is open to school groups, families, church groups, and others for programming, food, and lodging during the school year.

It was my first year at camp and we won marathon, the golden arrow, and the talent show thing(I don't think thts wht its called but thts all I could think of). It was the best week of my life!
