Hello there, your video was very helpful! And I wanna know how do you do the edge stitches? If u can pls make a video on that? Please? Ty so much!

@nanaGelo I'm glad you found the video helpful. The braided cable shown here is for a hat pattern I designed. For the pattern, there are 2 purl sts on each side of the braid, then three knit sts on one side, and six knit sts on the other.
You can get this Braided Cable Hat pattern on my web site, AudKnits.com. Or a simplified free version is available on Ravelry, called Ravelympics Braided Cable Hat.
Hope this helps!

Hello there, I didn't understand something ; do you use your cable needle every two rows, or do you have to do a certain number of rows before you twist ?
Also, I would like to knit a cable hat starting off a braid cable, could you do a second part video ? Or just explain how I should be picking up stitches and do the top part of the hat ? Thanks !

@mersylla Thank you for writing. The number of rows between using the cable needle will depend on the stitch pattern. My Braided Cable Hat uses a 4 row repeat, with the cabling every other row. Other patterns may use a different braid. To make the hat, you may like to try the pattern. There is a free version on Ravelry in a single size, which you can find under Ravelympics Braided Cable Hat or there's an expanded version for sale which includes three sizes, on my website, AudKnits.com

How many stitches do you need to have when you start the knit
TheCnm234 10 months ago
@TheCnm234 The cable is 6 knit stitches on a background of purl stitches. If you'd like to try the pattern, there is a free version on Ravelry in a single size, which you can find under Ravelympics Braided Cable Hat or there's an expanded version for sale which includes three sizes, for sale on my website, AudKnits.com
Hope that helps!
