@tbeld Though this may be true it is irrelevant. I'm not trying to argue that chicken eggs are identical to a human fetus, but similar in morality. Regardless there is potential for life, which is what the girl was arguing for. The no-choice argument. I wasn't trying to offend her, I just wanted to take a troll in the neighbourhood ;)

@kappa431 You need to look up your facts. If a hen doesn't mate with a rooster then the egg will just be an egg, and could never possibly be a baby chick. If a rooster mates with the hen, the egg the hen lays can be incubated or sat on, and it will hatch. Only when a rooster mates with a hen is there a baby chick in the egg the hen lays. So this means the chicken egg may very well be fertilized, but just not properly incubated for the egg to become a chick. The more you know :)
