Episode 10 of the Channel Five series Kings & Queens, which looks at the life and reign of George III of Britain

The series looks at key monarchs in the history of England and gives some simplified facts about their reigns. This is a good series for those who have little prior knowledge of English history

  • So much hate............. :D

  • God Save the King!

Emperor of my country! (No. I'm not from America.)

  • In this one thing do I agree with George III (the fact that I'm American has nothing to do with it) : You cannot trust politicians.

  • BOOOO King George!

  • @TheLiberalKnight Who are you holding responsible for this?

  • @oldstock1607 I've already told you, because of a shitty party that has been in power for 13 years.

One party's policy has nothing to do with the efficiency of the system of power.

  • @TheLiberalKnight And now I just heard that the EDL's planned march on Tower Hamlets has been quashed by the government. So NOW, you don't even have the right to peaceful assembly. Let me recap:1. No right to bear arms, 2. No right to freedom of speech, 3. No right to be secure in your person or effects without unwarranted search, and now, no freedom of assembly. How can you actually say you are free?

  • @oldstock1607 have the ability to stonewall him. If you think that Parliament never reaches an impasse, perhaps you should take a look at the Thatcher administration.

  • @TheLiberalKnight I'm not saying that EVERY muslim wants to institute an Islamic dictatorship. There are, however, several very influential muslims who want to to do exactly that, and the British government is handling them with kid gloves for some reason. Look, I don't like the two-party system of American government, as both are totally antithetical to what the nation needs. I do not, however, see the multi-party nature of Parliament being one whit more efficient. And THANK GOD the Republicans

  • @oldstock1607 I'm not getting into that debate. You are an idiot for thinking that every Muslim that walks into my country wants to overthrow parliament and create an islamic dictatorship.

I am not criticizing your country. I am criticizing your congress, because it is inefficient and indecisive. The most obvious example would be Obama's current situation. He may as well have resigned in 2010, after the elections, because he can't do anything until 2012 (presuming he is re-elected)
