@acdcislegand those single coils are good for a really dirty grunge sound.same goes for rock,but i'd stick with the neck pickup if i were to play metal with a Stratocaster.but remember that any guitar will fit almost any genre if you can play it well.jimi hendrix proved that.

@rodchubb honestly how much worst would this thing be compared to just fender 50s and one more thing would it be crazy to buy another strat if you have like a strat hss ?

You said you wired the bridge pick up to the tone control, i'm a beginner and am wondering what the purpose of this is because i'm thinking about purchasing one of these.

@CodEasy8 Strats don't have a tone control on the bridge pickup so I wire the middle pickup tone control to the bridge control
