Lets hope they dont go the dynasty route. They should keep it black & silver, and hardcore looking. I saw new designs for Gene's punisher bass, and it looks wicked. Those designs and the look of Pauls guitar, it seems they are adding alot of color to the new kiss look.

@mitchellmalicious : unreal you idiots are saying this is a cover band. paul and gene did most of the work in the 70's and they do most of the work now. at least there's a ton more input and effort from the drummer and lead guitarist now than there was in the 70's. ace and peter took the money. they sold the rights to their makeup to paul and gene. nuff said, end of discussion!!!

@kraziehorse1969 Ace and Peter are still in the business, and have each released new material over the last few years. I do believe they earn royalties on sales of CD's they were on, unless it was renegotiated. It is an old reference to quote, but in an interview in I think Guitar World, around 1995, he said he was still getting plenty of royalties because those cuts from their heyday still move in record stores, and he already had enough money to never work again.

I really hope they get their own new personae. When Eric took Peter's persona, I was like "if he is going to wear another member's make-up, it should be the late Eric Carr's "Fox", rather than play off Peter's "Catman", since he is still alive." I think it would have made a great tribute, plus I believe that Eric Carr would have been re-hired to replace Peter in 2001(?) had he still been alive at the time. Eric and Tommy using Peter and Ace's makeup made me feel like I was being openly lied to.

new costumes please. breath life back into kiss and stop making it a million dollar cover band. also it would be nice to see tommy and eric get their own make-up. maybe eric could become the hawk like he thought of back in the revenge days hahaha

As soon as I saw that guitar, I though Dynasty. I love those costumes, but I don't want to see them return. Rather, I would like to see new designs with the red, purple, blue and green theme. That would be cool. Then again would that go well with an album titled "Monster" that is supposed to be a heavy record? Maybe best to stick to black and silver for this album and upcoming tour. Either way, it's time for new costumes!!
