@katyburg But that doesn't necessarily mean
they're linked because that's like saying Mexico is Cuba b/c they have hot climates and and Spanish as a national language.
But it'd be pretty cool if they liked the Doors.
-
I could see that being the case. I guess it was the first time in a while I heard a band speak
in such an intelligent manner on an array of far out subjects. And the lyrics, like the doors have a lot going on: meaningful, thoughtful words rather than a lot of the shallow stuff that's popular today. And Alex does crazy performances.

I love the doors also but I dont see any musical connection between them, ppl ust mention 60s band cuz they never ever listened to it and now when a different band like this reach out to the masses they put lables like hippie music and so on, theres a lot of bands like edward sharpe today but they are way to underground to reach out to the masses,

I'm in love with The Doors and Edward Sharpe and am curious as to why you said that?
I had a feeling they did, just an instinct but I'm wondering if you know of any interviews
or musical reasons?

me too!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume these guys liked The Doors.

i listen to the heaviest of metal, but sometimes i just gotta chill out and listen to softer music like this...headbanging hurts after awhile
-
i usually find really tenuous similarities in music but i'm glad i'm not the only person who thought it sounded like the lonely shepherd by zamfir
-
@b1llygo4t it's actually the lonely shepherd by zamfir
