Douglas Adams' idealism for the ease of the computer was certainly boundless. I find the whole "guide" very interesting. Microsoft tried something similar with Clippy, but it was a terrible failure. Maybe it'll have life in the future.
Also, natural language processing still hasn't come of age, so it appears this video is continuing to make predictions.
Douglas Adams was a big fan of Hypercard also.
