N.D. Under Siege By Floods

Heavy winter snow and early spring rains caused the Red River to flood in Fargo, N.D., leaving the surrounding areas at risk of record flooding. Dave Price reports.

@shockolanu This video is about Fargo, North Dakota. We don't have very much public transportation. Not much we can have with 90000 people. I've had a car since i was 14. We can get our licenses at 14 1/2. I don't view it as social status. Everything is spread out and winters are very cold. We need them to get around.

Fargo sits at the bottom of the ancient Lake Agaszi. Everything with in 200 miles of Fargo drains into the Red

This is not global warming it is farmers able now with bigger equipment to be able to leavle and drain sections of land at a time. So it hits the river faster instead of sitting in the fields. It is also the county building bigger ditch so the water hits the river faster. Until someone fixes that the cities will keep getting hit with higher floods waters every year.

i live in fargo and this flood has been scary its suppose to be worse then 97 flood. our community has done so much to try and save it. both college and high school students have been out everyday to help along with the rest of the community. we didnt have help from the government for several days. im very thankful for the people that live here because this flood has really shown that we do care about what happens here. thank you to those who have been out everyday for hours to help fight this.

Yes, Bucharest is the most polluted capital in Europe but, if you look in depth, you will find that many Romanians, especially those in Bucharest fell for the western mentality. They all bought cars (even two/person), not because of need but, because they think owning cars is a sign of social statute... Why? Because they interpreted the western mentality in their own way. I don't own a car, my feet are good enough and the public transport is almost free. I'll buy a car when my feet will not work
