  • Stirner is probably my favourite philosopher. Very perceptive, very critical, and he's got a great sense of humor. Also forceful without suffering from Nietzsche's bombastry.

  • good quote. fascinating voice.

  • @almanacofsleep Thank you for the information. I have problems to distinguish them.

But, sorry, I don´t quite get the connection to my comment. Do you mean that pedophilia isn´t immoral but unethical?

  • @VitoPossilipo Morality and ethics are two separate things.

  • That Stephen Hawking synthesized voice makes it hard to listen.

  • @FuttBucker667 yes i forgot. thank you

  • @chrispollock dont forget about posting sarcastic comments on youtube, too

  • yes max stirner, keep talking about philosophy. meanwhile, people will be concerned with simple things like eating food, having sex and taking care of their kids and making sure they get to work on time:)

  • The Ivory Tower is just a metaphor for aristocratism, which I don't think Stirner endorses.

  • I don't know if it is POSSIBLE to "get out of one's 'Ivory Tower'".

  • That doesn't say anything about Stirner's own thought...but then, would the anti-structure of Stirner's meditations allow for moral judgments of any kind? THAT is the question. And I think that the answer is..."no".

  • I think, it´s a pitty, that Stirner´s "apostle" John Mackay was a pedophilist, who even wrote texts about his love to little boys, in which he calls it neither immoral, nor unnatural...

I think, that damages a little bit Stirner´s patina.
