MX518 and intellimouse 3.0 review and comparison

I have been using my Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 for so many years I don't even remember when I bought it, but it's at least 5+.

During that time I have used it heavily, especially in FPS games, and it still works perfect! No double clicks glitch, tracks perfectly, no z-axis problems (like some razer mice), scroll wheel still working ok, no bad buttons.

This mouse is a legend.

PD: Anyone knows if the new Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 is as good as the old one? Because I want one for backup.

Intellimouse Explorer has some bad materials in it,after 5 min of use it gave me an alergic irritation

@adelirbm1 dude i had mx518 when it was 1600 dpi and now i have the 1800 dpi.1600 dpi version was better because it glides more and almost works on every mousepad unlike 1800dpi.Anyways real true gamers wont care about dpi

@ipodsable Yes, IE is much better than Deathadder because my friends have IE 3.0 for 2 years and I had Deathadder for 6months and my DA just broke :x double clicking or nothing doing etc.

I destroyed my Deathadder 3500 dpi, it sucks, it had everything including double click glitch, mouse wheel fucks up, and so many other problems, this time around im buying a 3.0.

I've recently bought the Death Adder, MX518 to test and I've had an IE 3.0 for the past 5 years. All I can say is that the MX518 is too small for my hands compared to my 3.0. The Death Adder feels almost the same as the 3.0 in size but the clicks on the DA feel a lot harder to click compared to the 3.0 where it's very easy to press. I play RTS games and I have no problem in using the 3.0 to scroll across a 23in screen. All comes down to preference. I chose the 3.0
