Our big Tex.

And our big Pleco. Tex is nervous cause he knows it is time to clean his tank. Actually I am building a stand for his 60 gal tank, and he is going to be moved sometime over the summer. He hates nets so that will be fun.
Also some 1/4 red point and 3/4 con mixes, and the daddy 1/2 con 1/2 red point, To think I got great great great great grand children of my first convict.

  • Dude the thunder is awesome. Is that texas wild caught or store bought?

  • Store bought, got him at about 1/4" He was in a tank marked random cichlids for a buck a piece. They had a bunch of little guys, firemouths, JDs, Cons, I saw the texas and got it. I think it was mixed fry from breeder, little guys who his in the gravel until they got too big to hide. Local guy who breeds about twenty different cichlids, everyonce in a while you see a bunch of mixed fry come in at 1/4"-1/2" at a buck a pop for the little guys.
