Can you know that - that he needs a hair cut?

    Is that true?

How do you react when you think he needs a hair cut?

Who would you be without the story that he needs a hair cut for you to feel better?

  • I think MLKJ accepted what was and then was able to expose his ideas. He didn't fight or he wouldn't have had the inspiration and clarity to speak in that way. He was peaceful. Accepting what is is not about giving up your desire, is about loving so much what you are that you don't get stuck with persent circumstances so you can move forward in a way that pleases you.

  • @metricmoo here here! Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

  • @chett1983 So how's being normal working out for you?

  • @loveiswhatIam He needs a haircut. That's just a damn fact.

  • "There's nothing that can keep you from peace." And once you have peace, all the beautiful emotions come on top of it. Peace isn't nothingness, emotionlessness, it's the foundation of all kinds of happiness. And peace is easy to have. Just stop needing to control everything that happens in the universe.

  • George Lamsa has a translation about what Jesus said on the cross as, "Father, this is what I was born to do." rather than the mistranslated saying ,"Father, why have thou forsaken me." Makes sense:-)

  • @unbaiserdechocolat Where does the past exist? In your head and that is a fact...none of this is about what happens, its about what you think about what happens. This is no new teaching either. Its in the teaching of Christ, Bhudda, Non dual, everywhere. Byron Katie has put it into practical terms that anyone can use as a tool to grow and feel good inside.

  • @unbaiserdechocolat I suppose this work can be see anyway we choose. To me, this work doesn't say thoughts are wrong or right. There are peaceful thoughts and stressful thoughts only. Here is a chance to understand our own mind. Very cool.:)

  • I experienced treatment plans almost exactly the same as her "worksheets" while confined in a south Texas mental institution during the early 90's. As well as in my local public school systems behavioral disorders management system.
