Henson, Audra McDonald and Quincy Jones about inspirational black women in Hollywood and beyond as Essence Magazine celebrates black women in Hollywood at their 2nd Annual Awards Luncheon honoring Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson, Gina Prince-Bythewood and Diahann Carroll.
The star-studded event honored four of Hollywoods finest who have helped to change and inspire positive images of Black women in television and film—both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes: Halle Berry (Power Award), Oscar Nominee Taraji P. Henson (Lexus Star to Watch Award), Gina Prince-Bythewood (Visionary Award) and Diahann Carroll (Legend Award).
