The 2005 takeover of the club by the American Glazer family plunged United into the red overnight.

Ferguson should come out and tell the truth. If he withdrew his support for the Glazers. The s*** would hit the fan. If they sacked him then the revolution would begin. I cannot see the united fans taking that. Perhaps then and only then would the masses move into action. However, Fergie has criticised the fans for rebelling and keeps stum. His team is declining infront of us but he still gives his Goebbal speeches. It was him who greedily fell out with Magnier and Mc Manus who then sold out .

Obviously, the club is now run by the capitalist machine, who now see us merely as business. We aren't sure of Glazer due to his secretive nature, but it seems eery. Very much like the lead up to the 1929 Wall Street Crash and the 2009 global recession, whereby the bankers (Glazer) in this analogy kept the public in the shadows about the deals going on. United fans in general (the politically aware ones at least) are left of the spectrum ; thus we are fearful of capitalism (AGAIN)

As a Manchester United supporter, and an anti-Glazer person, I dont think the problem is the debt itself. It is the fact that the club is no longer run via the ideals of socialism, which is big amongst the United support considering that this is THE traditional working class team dating back to the 50s where we had working class support throughout England.

Look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Glazers bought a good up and coming American Football team, won a Super Bowl and then sent them to the basement of the NFL. Ask the Tampa Bay fans about the Glazers (say no more). The Glazers bought a good Man U team, won the Champions League and now look which direction were going. If we don't win the league this season and you can forget the Champions League that'll be two potless seasons (don't count the milk cup).

Our unfortunate reality as United's supporters is that we don't have a say in this business. If you haven't realised, the reason why Man Utd bought chicharito, and is scarving in the reserves and the youth team is because United is broke and can't buy the most famous players in the market., as it should. That being said, fans buying shirts and entering into the pay-per-view website for United would be a nice way to help the team, but it's just more bait for stupid us.
