ATWT 7-3e: Nuke's 7th and 8th kisses (Excerpts)

These are Nuke's 7th and 8th kisses. They're not as public as the one in Olde Towne but this one is done among their peers.

This is the first time they've had 2 kisses in one episode. In fact, few ATWT characters have done that. Usually, multiple kisses are part of the same lovemaking session split into separate scenes. Nuke gets to have 2 separate and distinct kisses!

For those who haven't watched the entire video, Noah just enlisted in the army and will leave Luke shortly. Think back to the Valentine's Fantasy special where Noah leaves Luke to return to the Navy. Only then, he promised to return if Luke would wait for him. There was no such promise here... *sniff*

Jake is straight but there are rumors that Van is gay. There have been other gay male kisses on US TV, but rarely are they this realistic. Van and Jake have real chemistry. It's known that many of the 33 kisses (so far) aren't even written in the script. They improvise it as they see fit. In fact, they rehearse the scene only once or twice before taping so many of the caresses and loving gestures are unexpected even to each other.

The rumors of Van being gay is based on a photo of Van's good friend Tyler. First, he thanks Tyler in the program for his play, Die Mommie Die. Thanking a friend isn't unusual, of course. But then a publicity photo was discovered of Tyler -- wearing the same exact shirt Van wore for one of his publicity photos. It may just be a coincidence that they both have the same shirt, but the rumor was that they're lovers who share the same clothes. Cute.

It's not always Noah kissing Luke first. With couple of the kisses that occurred at the cottage when Noah was married to Ameera, Luke initiated the kissing.

Not that it matters to me - I love 'em either way.

as much as we nuke fans all want van and jake 2 b togethr in real life, unfortunently van IS straight, it has been confirmed by his gf T^T....but i agree they do hav REALLY good *suspicously good* chemistry on screen. so my imagination of gay goodness lead me 2 believe that they secret lovrs :P
