One of the best scenes from one of my all time faves STATE OF GRACE. You can rest assured I will be adding more from this classic in the future but for now ENJOY!

  • best moment of this movie...fuck it!

  • I must say those Italians had some nerve. Though in reality they wouldn't dare walk into a West Side Irish bar with such fearless and pompous nonchalance. Any ways, that scene is so reminiscent of Mickey Featherstone and his famous, crazy and impulsive behavior. For Gary Oldman was just perfect for that particular role, as he slid right into Mickey Featherstone's skin (he should've won this Oscar for his awesome performance!). Taylor Ahern, Squantum, Mass. (the Irish capital of America!)!!!

  • @Aidpagemoocher yes it does cause the movie is based on the westies thats common knowlege ed harris is jimmy coonan and gary oldman is mickey featherstone but in the movie there the flannery brothers in real life and morelli is based on roy demeo capo of the gambinos who became capo cause of the gambino's getting west manhattan action from the westies jimmy coonan was impressed with italians and the mob were mickey disliked them extremely

  • Great scene, great movie. The guy sitting on the right (moustache) is Louis Eppolito, real life NYPD cop who is in federal lockup for life for putting down hits.

  • does anyone agree that the music sets up the suspense throughout, that and oldman is the tits

  • @sxlfkta I dobut that! It would be Bridgeport,Southside of Chicago!

  • @sxlfkta yea it does resemble the Westies some.

  • The movie with my two favorite actors :D. Ed Harris and Gary Oldman. :D

  • I wish i coud see ed harris and gary oldman in one movie again :(

  • Absolutely. There is no question Featherstone was inspiration for the masterful Jackie Flannery character. For even Oldman himself has called this his favorite and best role ever on his own website.

  • God I love this movie! It's such a great movie... It kinda made me emotional when I saw it for the first time.
