I would pay over 9000 samoleans to see the footage where the friendly idiot at the amusement park (moi, wearing a Spiderman mask I then pull up on top of my head) greets Dick and Irene with joy... and Dick crams a burger in my face and Irene tosses a milkshake on me.
I knew it was coming, but I was not prepared for the incredible grossness of the burger! (Gags in horror! No acting skillz required!)
I was a partner/producer for Casey Movies. Richard Casey directed this vid before I became involved with his company. But, as I was around and knew everyone, I have some details of this video. Meltzer used to attend cookouts with us and Pearlman (the manager) hired us to do Blue Oyster Cult, Romeo Void and Sabbath etc. Around, but not a partcipant in this vid directly.
It sounds like the stuff your describing was on the East Coast? I went to the screening at Richard Casey's apartment on Kingsley in Hollywood. I had just moved out here from NY and my step sister got me in on the whole thing via a film class she or her boyfriend was taking.
Nope. West Coast. Richard lived in Hollywood with Van Spaulding when I met him - - this was soon after these Vom films were made. I came into the company after he completed BURNING FOR YOU. We did Aldo Nova vids together, then BOC, then Romeo Void and others - total of about 16 vids including Angry Sam's TIME HAS COME TODAY.
At the time I was just into Blackmore and AC DC, but I remember Greg Turner showing me the chords to the songs. I ended up getting kicked out of the house and sort of joining the punk scene in LA later. What's funny is I've since become a fan of Meltzer's writing, probably from hanging out at the library too much.

Fer sure, coz I was subbing for "Ted Kluzewski" (my brother, Metal Mike) on drums... and arrived in LA in July 1978.
I was only in the videos... Gregg talked me into doing it, since Mike wasn't interested.
