This is one of three new Tar frame drums in the new line of Remo "Global Framedrums and Tambourines". It is the smallest of the three in the TAR line, which also include 18" (45.72 cm) and 22" (55.88 cm) diameter models. They all feature deeper 3" (7.62 cm) earthy toned textured shells with thumb notches, and the new Skyndeep® heads. The 16" (40.64 cm) model has the "Snake Skin" Graphic head. These heads are lightly textured and very responsive. With Remo's patened PTS (Pre-Tuned System) ensuring the correct tension for the frame size, these fixed Skyndeep® heads provide the correct overtones that Tar players look for.
