Yep, I like #1, I like the bangs, even when they get stringy. :) And I like him with more of a beard. But, just like everyone else has said. I'd take him either which way.

Option #1 Much more flattering, I think. Shorter bangs are good so they don't get too stringy, but bangs for sure. Makes him look more handsome, accessible.
