something a little different. I remember hearing this song years and years ago (I might even have still been in school, so that's 9 years) and loving it. I wasn't a fan of harsh vocals at the time (and I'm still not a massive fan now) and this has more clean than harsh. I'm not a fan of many of Kittie's other songs, but this ones killer.
I tried to play it a couple of years ago, but just couldn't get all the little bits right, particularly the bits during the chorus. I tried playing it my own way and it just flat out sucked. I'm still not sure this is how Mercedes plays it, but there's nothing wrong with putting your own spin on things.
If anybody's wondering (which I'm sure you're not) I got the headphone cable trapped around my foot, which is why you can see me looking down for a couple of seconds towards the start of the first verse.
Anyway, I actually quite like this video, there's not really any mistakes, a couple of times towards the end when I go out of time, but nothing amazingly bad.
There's even a pathetic little attempt at some quick double bass in there, haha!!
