  • Ooh, "The Monster of Piedras Blancas"!! About what time did this show air, was it after Championship Wrestling?? "Championship Wrestling", there's an intro i'd love to see.

  • @johnkun77 I MIGHT JUST POST IT. : )

  • This brings back memories of sitting in front of the tv sometime in the early 70s watching some of the worst horror movies, but now have a soft fondness for them. I am looking for any footage of Lou Steele whom I believe hosted Creature Features, but my memory is fuzzy. I call an older man who spoke with a low, echoing voice, but did not look like a horror host. Fond memories. Friday nights it was Creature Feature and Saturday morning it wis Chiller Theater.

  • @madahad9 havent found any clips of lou steel yet from creature features.

    stay tubed

  • Classic.... thats when TV was really really good.... those were the days!

  • Best was the guy on Ch 5 that showed Superargo vs Diabolicus and said at the commercial break "I'd like to unmask that actor for the fraud he really is" LOL

  • Did anyone catch "Children shouldn't play with dead things" in this show

  • @johnkun77 Used to come on Channel 9 at 1 am, after WWWF/WWF Championship Wrestling

  • The fright night theme in buffalo always scared the hell out of me. my mom would stay up late watching something like Dial M for Murder and I'd hear that creepy music between commercials.

LOL. So did every black and white horror flick with fog and the campy Woman Without a Head. Though funny, the organ music in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken is the no.1 top creepy music.

  • Supernatural Theater preceded Fright Night on Ch 9 by about ten years. It ran against Ch 11 Chiller Theater.

  • I am pretty sure this came on after wrestling I used to watch this after SNL and fall asleep

  • i remember back in the late 80's on WGN a show called FRIGHT NIGHT as well. I don't remember if it was the same show as this

  • They actually showed Peeping Tom on tv? Wow!

  • I remember this after "Championship Wrestling" on Channel 9 in NYC. I had to go to bed after wrestling was over, but good memories!
