  • Maybe it is too difficult for you to see that a world where all resources are a "common heritage" SOMEONE has to make the final decision for their use, thereby creating the power structure whether you want it or not... so let me ask you this... the machines are constructing a new building in town where the individualized housing pods will go, wow exciting right? Who decides who gets the penthouse? The pods may be the same size but the view from the 50th floor sure is nicer than from the 2nd.

  • Of course you put the =) on there to signify you joke, right?

For this... "the people decide this. like scientists using the scientific method, and also through an open discussion with the people" .... requires an apparatus of control which will necessarily be the "state" lest the vision of the Venus Project be impinged by heretics.

  • So there is a power strucuture, state control?

  • Thank you Rand Paul.

  • "all the decision making is made through logical conclusions of the survey of the resources and distriution of resources for the most efficient way on progressing human lives"

Who does this? Who conducts the survey? Who decides what distribution is most efficient for what production? Whose logical conclusion?

  • Ugh, it is communism for the 21st century, that video just shows all the more how it is. I know its difficult chatsworth, but you are going have to do some reading and thinking on the real world to figure out why. It holds out the same promise as communism and will run into the same problems. No political parties? This goes back to my question, who controls the "common heritage" resources? Think it through from 3 million people arriving in FL to build Venus World, how is life on the ground?
