It's not fantasy...it's on earth....mmm it's funny sometimes in the simply truth of human nature. A drama can work but it's written by pratchett so I really don't know.
But all the little and huge things about religion,truth,culture,life watever comes out in this simple storie.
I can't explain it, but you have to read this book if you can think

What kind of book is this? I know it's not Discworld but is it funny, drama, fantasy?

Nation is one of the most important books I've ever read. I'ld like to say why with all manner of explicit and fantastic detail, bringing in all the experts from various areas and have HUGE undeniable arguments ready to shoot down any nay-sayers, but I can't. I don't have the words. So I will just say "Thank you Mr. Pratchet, once again, for letting the small human truths that we all share be brought to form in this great novel."
