it never ceases to amaze me how people who know nothing about animals will comment about this being abusive to animals...my two pitbulls go NUTS if I even pretend to take their harnesses off the hook in the garage. dogs are hardwired to exercise they need it and love it. it would abusive to deny them this requirement. I've found that the people who volunteer these unfounded and uneducated opinions to me in passing on the trail usually don't know how to even take care of themselves physically.

Pawtrekker we bought last year and its the best buy we have done for the huskies. Awesome trainer to progress up to a rig . A must have for working breeds

Looks cool, but I recon the leads should be longer, just in case the dogs stop suddenly There's not much breaking distance between the scooter and dogs.

Is it easy to use the Pawtrekker? I mean, is it easy to maintain balance? What does it feel like to stand on it?

Thanks for the info.... our beach has quite firm sand as the tide retreats. Its got to worth a go in the future... cheers !!

hi, i have used my pawtrekker on the beach many times, it does have to be farily firm sand but it is great fun on the beach. just be sure to rinse it off afterwards as the sand and salty water are not kind.

Pawtrekker..... do you know if they will be suitable for firm sand ??? I live 5 minutes from a 4 mile beach in Cornwall, U.K and have 2 malamutes that could benefit from this. the only video i have seen on here is a trike being pulled in a world record attempt on a beach by 8 dogs at speed... and succeeding (sand sledding). Anyone else had a go at this on a beach with a Pawtrekker, would be interesting to see if it would perform well. Looks the way to go for winter time, my dogs would love it.
