  • This was a co-worker in this accident. His name is Bill and he was pretty sore and beat up after the accident. I hate it too when people stop filming! His wife filmed it and I think it's hard to keep filming when it's someone you care about getting hurt.

  • hope the chainsaw is ok

  • Even an undercut wouldn't be a foolproof way of preventing this, the branch can still swing on the remaining hinge wood or sapwood. Ladders and chainsaws should never be used together, ever. Hire a professional (safer and cheaper) or learn the proper cuts , buy the right gear and do it yourself (riskier and more expensive unless you have a lot of trees to work on).

  • Should not of been using a ladder then....

  • a tiny cut under the branch would of,, could of should of save the nuts from falling

  • IDIOTAS

  • rule number one...tie off the ladder to a part of the tree you are not cutting off!!!

rule number two...tie yourself off to the ladder!!!

have fun...but if things get dicey...drop the saw...repairing it is cheaper than repairing you!!!

  • @TheMachin333 one word for faggot

  • one word.......muppet

  • Ladies ang gentlemen. Welcome to the first annual tree golfing championship. First to tee off today, the mighty oak. And there's the swing.

  • @chadborden1 I was gonna say! When using any chain saw, BOTH feet HAVE to stay on the ground. Use a pole saw. Too far up? Hire someone w/a truck-mounted cherry picker. I go up ladders all the time w/my Husky 55 and my Echo pole saw, but with 36 years experience and a brain that functions, I can do it and know when I shouldn't. These clowns probably buy a $89 purple/green (can't think of the model) Poulan at WalMart and don't read the owners manual and end up here. Or graveyard.

  • As a tree care professional I would only use a ladder for small tree/limb pruning and would be strapped in at that.. On large trees a climbing line to repel down and strap into your work area, have all the necessary safety gear. The ladder could have been tied to the limb and worker tied to the large horizontal limb, even that would be iffy!

  • This is really funny. He should have used a trimmer!!!!
