I can't stand it, they see a beautiful latina rise, so they try so hard to knock her down. I love the show so much, and its true the new time on friday is when they know that Ugly Betty could be caneled. I think its bullshit, I love you America Ferrera, I believe there will be so much more for you after Ugly Betty. You are so Beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE Ugly Betty! I can't wait to see what Season 4 will bring! But i'm kinda skeptical because they moved it to Friday @ 9 and that's the weakest time slot because it makes for low audience watching. With that, it's easy for the show to get canceled. They should move it back to it's original time of Thursday @ 8! They had to put some other BS in there! I've got both Seasons of Ugly Betty on DVD and am waiting for Season 3 to drop on Sept. 22! I'll be the first in line!

What accent? If you're talking about America Ferrera she has none. To me she is 100% American. If you are talking about Salma, well yes, she is a highly educated, intelligent, successful woman who I suspect not only speaks her mother-tongue, Spanish but also English, French, etc...I guess people who only speak one language can never understand how difficult it is to learn and speak another one correctly.

Actually Salma is American because she is Mexican which makes her just as American if not more since the Spanish people were here a little before the English. I know that we in the US think we are the only ones that can claim that name but there are other places both north and south of the border that are ust as American as we are.
