When i saw this, I was thinking "This BETTER be a V8 and not a 3.9 V6). Glad to hear it was a V8. :-P That side exit looks pretty clean. How loud is it in the cab? I have TRUE Duals with rear exits. Loud outside but not too bad inside with the windows up.

It was done by a professional welder, and you could carry a conversation in the cab just fine, but the highway could be annoying.

@oubobcats27 ....the original flowmaster 40 is definately louder and throatier. the super 40 is meant for higher horsepower muscle cars that want the signature sound without it being obnoxious. i recommend the original 40 for all pickups under 400 horsepower.

hey man thats a pretty good sounding dakota. i have a 2005 dakota 4.7L v8 and i am trying to decide what kind of exhaust i should get for it and what the cost is gonna be. can you give me your opinion on what i should get? thanks
