Chelsea FC - Breaking News: Di Matteo signs two year contract

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce that Roberto Di Matteo has been appointed manager and first-team coach on a permanent basis.

The Italian returned to Stamford Bridge today following his holiday to finalise a two-year contract.

I really don't understand ManU and Liverpool fans. I don't support a team to show off how many trophies they have won, that's not the point of the game. I support Chelsea because I love the team and I really enjoy watching them play. If I wanted to be a glory hunter, and chose a team to show off the number of trophies the team has one, I would choose ManU, just to show off of course (like most of these idiots who post on Chelsea videos do). okay yes i understand that i mean im english live like 2-3 hours from manchester i started supporting them because of beckham and ever since been addicted to united. no racism or anything but most foreign supporters of big clubs are plastic fans but you know im english live like 2-3 hours from manchester i wouldnt call myself a glory hunter for liking uniteds history and players

A lot of fans in the region where I am from, do not appreciate football the way it should be appreciated. I've met people who all of a sudden started supporting MU or FCB, only to show off all the trophies they have one. That's all they do. No one needs to be reminded of all that, we all know how successful these clubs are. Real fans support a club to enjoy the game and appreciate the style of play being played by that club, not just to show off. Know what I mean? I've met a lot like that.

BET HE DONT SEE THE END OF THAT CONTRACT dont get me wrong he deserves it 100% BUT taking the job full time as to just care taker manager is a different thing all together unless he wins the league next season hes gone no doubt coz chelsea aint gonna win the champions league next season no chance got to give credit where its deserved but i cant see him being a full time success

I hope Di matteo, doesnt do a "Dalglish" good for about a season then, when he gets the job fulltime,lots of pressure, doesn't deliver.. it wownt anyway I know *touchwood*
