@joeyy17 An intel i7 second revision (sandybridge architecture) is leaps and bounds above it now, especially since more games are using 2 or 4 cores. They also overclock like MAD. You can get an i7-2600k to 5 Ghz on air without much trouble. That's insane. 4 cores at 5 Ghz..

@UnknownXV i have the e8400 but is the intel i7 much better? sorry im new to computing and would like to know :)

Wow this runs way better than my crappy phenom 9500 quad core.
-
fucking jealous man :(
-
your pc makes one hell of a noise but it's a good rig
-
@featurecreature18 hah, i have a 500mm fan over my computer while i overclock XD
-
@teh1337storm I don't think that's a safe idea, maybe you should do some googling around and test some things out!
-
@featurecreature18 Wow i never noticed that :P
so because it uses video ram, can I load loading screens faster if I overclock the memory frequency?
( i hope you still use youtube and can respond )

how many frames per second is it?

this is a real great game i cannot believe it. it's a whole lot superior to cod4. ive just reached the 2nd prestige ! i am as a result pleased. got the video game just yesterday out of mw2forfreeYinfo (replace Y with . ) however i'm undoubtedly annihilating everybody!
Quad core is future proofing your rig, but in the moment now, you'll get more performance out of a core 2 duo, I'd go with the E8400.

Not at all, Vista uses VRAM for games and not normal ram, so if you have a Firefox running in the background, it won't affect performance. For the original commenter, try reinstalling vista.
