I was amazed when my uncle pointed out that the Dead had a lot of country in thier music - it was so clear it was like a light bulb going off in my head!! Our love will not fade away!!!

@fortancient - I saw the band 105+ times. The first 35 or shows (Brent era) from 85'-90' were smoking hot amazing, mind blowingly incredible. This version if Mama tried sounds pretty poppin' to me - Call me crazy

decent version, but the dead covered alot of music, and I can say for sure they do the blues a bit better.
