Great submission, but has anyone told you you're evil? lol

What exactly would warrant this technique? Would you use it if your triangle wasn't that good and you needed to create more pressure to get the tap? Or is it just for extra effect?
-
i concur..
-
Sometimes your oponent has his other hand in the triangle to try to push it back in, maybe this would finish him anyhow?
-
feels pretty much like your going to get your spine broken... wich you probably will if your oponent doesent let go and crank it real good...
-
you just have to be quick with this one because I got my ankle cranked and had to tap because I didn't post up quick enough when I set my foot in, but man is this effective, it puts about as much force as a twister on the spine!!!
-
Great technique... though I don't know why you are cranking it so hard on your training partner who isn't resisting. Seems like if you are making him scream, you're cranking it unnecessarily hard, especially for an instructional. Competition is one thing but I'm never trying to kill my training partners in the gym.
-
Agreed but sometimes you can have it locked tight and there's that percentage of ppl that will refuse to tap. Instead of going to an sankaku arbar or some sort I think this is a nice option.

Deadly manuver...
I saw someone do this move 9 years ago when i was in japan. Kyle did not invent this modification.

You are aware that when you are playing a Japanese video game you aren't actually in Japan, correct?

It was real cool how Anderson Silva used this exact technique to finish off Lutter. Before that I kept yelling at the damn TV "Insert the foot! Insert the damn foot!". He must have heard me.
