Part 2 of a video by Cern regarding the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment. Video date June 2004. Main goals of the experiment are-
To explore physics at the TeV scale.
To discover the Higgs boson.
To look for evidence of physics beyond the standard model, such as supersymmetry or extra dimensions.

  • Funny and interesting. A typically Lite Version amongst the other documentaries which have been released. Make a few more like this? It seems to me that the moment the Higgs - or theory expanding other phenomena will (and they will!) be found, the media and greater audience jumps immediately at it. :)
