A person can interact with God.. but if they try to explain it to others they can't, as there would no reference for the other person and thus they'd make a bucket. There is no conceptual anchor for such ideas and thus a logical nul.
But yes.. Atheists put part of reality in a bucket. They couldn't except a logical explanation of God. I find sooo many fundamental flaws in the conceptual foundations in science it's mind boggling.

@foolforlifecoaching Doctors use genetics as a God bucket.
A bucket is using something you don't understand to explain something and is usually wrong. Doctors can't change your genetics so it's a bucket to toss the subject away in. Buckets are used to sweep problems away and thus stifle learning and human progress. Genetics is used as a one size fits all problems answers as is salt, obesity..ext

I really admire Robert.
He talks about 'buckets'. Its almost like a Paradigm
I don't know if he realizes this but, not believing anything Spiritual or outside the realms of our senses (or apparatuses that amplify them) is just another 'bucket'.
Just because he, believes or disbelieves does not make it so .. but makes it so for him.

@12345678channelviews - same reason he can lecture on baboons without being a baboon.
You get Robert Sapolsky to sit down for an interview and you COMPLETELY BLOW the camera work. Practice with your roommates before the real deal. Comes across totally disrespectful.

"The notion that faith in Christ is to be rewarded by an eternity of bliss, while a dependence upon reason, observation and experience merits everlasting pain, is too absurd for refutation, and can be relieved only by that unhappy mixture of insanity and ignorance, called "faith." - Robert G. Ingersoll in "The Gods"
