(Video 1987 -91 Paris) Alfredo Rodriguez walks on keyboards since the age of seven.
After pursuing studies in classical music in Havana, he turned to jazz and share in the USA 1966 marks the beginning of his career.
During his twenty years of New York life, he played and recorded with: Vicentico Valdes, Willie Rosario, Joe Cuba, Belisario Lopez, La Sonora Matancera, Rafael Cortijo, Ismael Rivera, Justo Betancourt, Cheo Feliciano, Monguito, Mario Bauza, The Lupe, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, "Papaito", Dizzie Gillespie, Jose Fajardo and so on, but the most important stage of his musical career in the U.S. is meeting with the great percussionist Carlos "Patato" Valdes.
