Resident Evil 5: Shotgun comparison M3 vs Hydra

According to the RE wiki article here http://residentevil.wikia.com/Hydra, the Hydra has a maximum damage of 6600 per shot (550 x 12 pellets) while the M3 has a maximum damage of 4500 (900 x 5 pellets).

From what I see, the spread of the M3 is pretty wide, even slightly wider than the hydra. If you look closely, some of the shots missed on the right even when I was less than a feet away from the chainsaw majini. You'll soon notice that the weapons with attack range upgrades tend to have a tighter group when shot compared to those that don't, which in a way makes them effective at medium range.

Apparently the Hydra doesn't stun the Executioner on the first shot, I'm not sure why, but 2/5 of the shots done on him failed to stun him on the first go. This might be because each pellet from the Hydra does only 550, compared to the 900 done by the M3.

I've done these 6 tests dozens of times to ensure that it is the minimum required to kill a certain enemy. You will most likely take 6 shots to kill the gattling gun majini with the hydra, for example and 3 shots to down the executioner with the M3, even if you shoved the shotguns into their bellies.

How did u put does crosshairs instead of the laser?

hey man they r both good i mean like hydra is better since it does like 5 shot's at once m3 is an ok gun for enemys if you dont have hydra use m3 ya dont have hydra then use M3. (These ass holes fight like "M3 IS BETTER" And "HYDRA IS BETTER" i mean like wtf?
