i saw pictures of this frie a while back and asked the same question someone on the film did about the engine blowing up . a mechanic told me this was unlikely for 2 reasons . diesel burns at a higher temprature then normal petrol plus the fuel tank is nearer the drivers compartment then the engine one . that was not a big enough fire to blow it up .
