I love some Hip Hop, but the problem with most modern music is it samples too much of the past - therefore the skills of the actual musician diminish. Constant sampling bastardizes the original intent and form - much like the cultural revelations DF speaks of. DF wants acceptance of Hip Hop - which crutch will always be not to problem solve, rather complain. It be nice to see DF take it to the next level and mimic their parents and try to accomplish something better for Pinoys.
