This is the April 2009 update of the Growing Dome. Outside temps are now in the 70'sF. during the day..and in the 40's at night. Inside the Growing Dome... temps are staying around 55-60F. at night and 75-80F. during the day. http://www.rawutah.com/

  • Thanks HomesteadProcateur! You have some AWESOME garden videos..just checked them out. I'm using calendula and marigold...companion planted on all my current beds...I believe they do have the same action with nemadatodes and attracting beneficials. Great idea on growing ginger and turmeric in the dome...just added Astragalus, Rue and and Echinacea...

  • OH MAN!!! SWEET setup!! I have researched those growdomes too, nice to see how effective they are.. If I had me one of those, I would have hibiscus, GINGER and TURMERIC and a date tree growing up in that heazy!! Wow, can't wait for the next update, do you know if Calendula exerts the same effect as the marigold? I was under the impression they do the same thing? Repel root nematode attract pollinators. Good thinking on those lady bugs and praying mantis' this is PRIME!!
