A lil show of how the car handles around a slight turn on snow with the 4WD Lock mode which suppose to give 50/50 power. Traction Control is off. You can notice the difference in between TC on and off. The car still handles well :)

  • Thanks for this video. I was thrilled to see the Lancer available in "AWC". I live in Denver and I am looking to get a new car that handles well in snow. Looking at the SX4 mainly, but now I'm interested in this. I heard the AWC isn't as "advanced" as some of the higher priced models, but for someone who just wants to get to work safely, could you comment more on your satisfaction with the car in snow?

  • @damndj Well I wish I could comment more, but we haven't had any snow :/ It handled great thus far with what we had. And it I leave it 2wd unless there's 1+ inches.

  • The Lancer has nice engine sound

  • @MartinMariner2424 Thanks, I like it. I have to get a SRI for it.

  • @Tomcoolp Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it.

  • @Moe11032 I would guesstimate 0-60 to be around 7.5 seconds. And the 4wd does work at higher speeds, only it provides more power to the front in the 4wd auto mode.

  • @Tomcoolp hey , What's 0-60, and does the 4wd work at higher speeds?

  • The Lancer SE uses a 2.4-liter engine with more horsepower than the base engine, and it's a big difference. The 2.4-liter four makes 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque. It revs to a sweet 6500 rpm. Brakes are nicely sensitive, and the CVT automatic is better than most in this segment

  • i have the same car lancer se-awc 2012 it s awc all wheel control .

The SE AWC moves from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive easily with a flip of the small rocker switch on the center console. The system can be moved to four-wheel-lock directing up to 70 percent of the engine's torque to control the rear wheels.
