This is my first attempt at a how-to video for my Ninja 650R. I apologize for my over-use of the word 'bracket' but actions speak louder than words. :)
Feedback is welcome. I'd be happy to hear how I can do better next time.

How's the seat? Now that you've had it a while, how do you like it?

  • @MrGCHiker Yeah, I still love the seat. I can still remember shifting my butt around after 15 or 20 minutes of riding on the old one. This one is way more comfortable.

  • Dude, you never say how the seat works. Is it any more comfortable than the original? How much was it?

  • @MrGCHiker The seat is way more comfortable than the original. The original felt kind of like riding on a horse saddle with pressure going right up the middle. This feels more like a seat for my butt to rest on. And it formed nicely to my body so it spreads the pressure nicely for long rides. I think it was 450 for the front and rear seat.

I ordered it on corbin's website. just google corbin ninja 650r

  • I'm having trouble removing the bolts for the rear seat.. I've tried plenty of times and I ended up stripping them.. Any tips?

  • @Fistfuloflag Yeah it was hard. I had to get my brother to hold the bottom while I turned the top to get better leverage.

  • K. Coming up on my 3rd summer of riding and am ready for some tweaking on my 2009 ninja. A seat is real high on the list. Prolly a cruise control first though.

  • @senzozn the front seat didn't click down all the way. It was really hard to get it down all the way at first but once i got it all the way down, the gap went away

  • Why is there a big gap in between the front and rear seat?

  • @samburkar The back half of the seat is removed the same way as the stock seat by the key hole under the tail.
