ur idea of what is good and bad is loosly based on your expectations of the game... for me FFIX was my first FF and i went backwards and forewards from there... FFIX was made to stay true to the roots of the series and not its new steam punk style it now seems accustomed to... though the artstyle was a bit different... the characters looked more chibi ..... i loved the story of self discovery and love... i think along the way FF forgot its roots and what a epic romance story it unfolds to be
