I used to have two guinea pigs called Millie and Rosie. They were twins and I got them about 3 and a half years ago at a small pet store. They were both cross breeds but they had an abbysinian side of them. In November Rosie had a stroke and died, I found Millie next to her sniffing her. Ever since yesterday, Millie lived inside on her own until we got a new guinea pig called Mia! They absolutey LOVE eachother!! I found them snuggled up together this morning :') Now Millie won't get lonely!!

I don't think it's a very good idea to put food while you're introducing. Just a tip to whoever reads this I am not trying to be mean or anything just want to help!

we had to guinea pigs (Caramel and Chocolate) and one day i came home from school to find Caramel dead :^(. Chocolate was VERY depressed and then we got 2 new babies (Indy and Sooty) and now i myself another one (Harry) so now we have 4!! But Indy and Sooty keeps getting extremely agitated when I try to introduce Harry to them and i'm worried that they'll never get along. Is this normal because Indy and Sooty are both young? or do i need to be worried and get another cage (i'll put chocs in)???

I got mine at an animal shelter. You could call your local extension office and see if there are any 4-H groups in the area that show guinea pigs-they should know.
