Michigan Marching Band - "Hawaiian War Chant"

"War Chant" is the second of the two traditional arrangements by Jerry Bilik performed by the MMB at each postgame show. Like "Temptation," it was arranged in the late 1950s. "War Chant" and "Temptation" are reputed to be the first collegiate band percussion features.

I get what you're saying, but you gotta know this arrangement is AGES old, before ppl did thoughtful things like that. Seriously. UM has been playing this song since, er, the '50s? It's considered a "traditional" song for UM.

@flowergirlinWard17 Like someone else said... this is a very old song that was arranged in the 50's... it's as much tradition as our fight song,"The Victors". It was never meant to be authentic O.o But I still loved hearing it when I was a little girl and playing it when I got to be in the band :)
