In the Netherlands, it is required by law to open your car door with your right hand, so that it forces you to turn around and look behind. Maybe we should do the same.

Bike illegally squeezes by the car by passing on the right, no sir. Cyclist in the wrong. I feel bad for the guy, but that happens. When on the road you are a vehicle, even as a cyclist.

@irvthegr8 Because you're not from the city, it's something you don't understand. It's called filtering, and is perfectly legal. What cop is ignorant to the idea that people ride bikes in the city? It's VERY common.

@epohnopulse ok smart ass explain this to me ..if you noticed, the vehicles stopped including the cab right before the officer opened his door ..why didnt the bicycle stop?
