Cinematic Duodecim: Tifa VS Lightning HQ

My first Dissidia Duodecim replay! I like the way this one turned out, although with the much faster pace in the sequel, it'd be nice to have a slow motion option, but you can manage with calling assists at least.

@9753matt I'm sorry, I don't follow anything related to DC or marvel of any kind but I think I know where you are going with this. I find mortal power interesting, but Lightning can still win without godlike antics. My theories revolve around characters legitimite capabilities, as far as Tifa's physical martial art combat goes the only way she has half a chance of winning is if Lightning is disarmed, but she is also trained in melee arts too due to the fact she's in the military. Just sayin' lol

@EdisZidane I've always been confused by the silly notion of Lightning defeating Tifa easily. I mean, I think it would be a fair fight. Of course, it would be silly to count her godlike powers. I mean, there is a reason why, in western media, Superman is considered the strongest man in the world, but almost any greek god of Wonder woman's could defeat him. Mortal powers are the only thing that is interesting, and Mary Sue god modes lack any tension.

@playadelrey100 To be honest with you I don't think that 6 7,8,10,12, or 13 have the same feeling as the 1-5, maybe because they had guns and an overload of machines. But overall I liked them all, consider me as one of the actual fans that loves 13 then because I can't find a thing that's wrong with it. And Tifa doesn't have to be a main character to beat Lightning, I base my point of view on fights for what they accomplish, what they have, plot wise. Side characters can win, just not this one.

@EdisZidane i played ff 13. and disliek it. i tried it at my friends house. ugh. i asked around and alot of die hard fans hate 13 with a passion doesnt feel like ff at all. and i agree. i am excited for Versus though. the protaganist seems interesting. lightnings way to bland in my point of view. and Tifa would hold her own. there both strong characters. in reality Tifa prolly would lose cause in a actual fight shes a side character. and Lightning is a main. still she would make her work for it.

@playadelrey100 There was already a fan base when they came out with the first one. If there is a FF7 fan base (which I promise you there is) then the idea of making more FF games is pointless, because some people is still stuck in the past and can't let go of the game for 2 seconds to actually explore the series. Btw Lightning would beat Tifa, as much as I love Tifa she'd never survive 10 seconds with Lightning.

Lightning would probably beat Tifa. Caius was confirmed to be the strongest villain in FF, the fact that Lightning gave him a good fight puts her pretty high on the scale.

@jinjino1 how can someone hate the idea of ff7 if it gave the whole franchise a fan base with the main cast alone. lol. if it wasnt for ff7 alot of ppl would skip the games entirely. ill stick to what i said. Tifa would win. either that or a draw.
