Wow I want what she's smoking. When they said Spike Lee was a failure, they meant a financial one COMPARED to other films that are moderate to blockbuster status. Movie companies operate for profit, not political statements. This woman is supposed to be an INTELLECTUAL??????????? Please.

SHE don't get it. Profit-motivated companies aren't a soapbox for politics. YOU don't get t either. Besides, who's to say what's "black" enough or not? Some blacks tell me that bell hooks is an Aunt Jemima, because she talks white, and sold out, like whitey. Go figure.

These anarcho-feminist-radical-etc. types will ALWAYS complaining. This video is aout someone complaining, but not really doing anything.

I love her comments and thoughts and I really get so much out of her books because she is saying what I have felt and thought in my life. It saddens me that people can't move past their own biases to really listen to the struggle and engage in it with others...instead they choose to reduce themselves to making petty comments in lieu of critical thinking.
