Alderson (dover) traction elevator @ Doyle Fine Arts Building Murray State Universtiy Murray KY

This is the elevator in the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building. They were originally Alderson but in 1998, they completely refurbished the cabs (with the exception of the floor) and installed a Traflomatic 4 Controller. The original fixtures can be seen in my virtual elevator video.

Nice Elevator. I wonder why there is two speed door on the inside, and single speed on the outside? I don't know if the voice in the elevator is Montgomery or Dover, the brand the elevator itself is.

There is a 2 speed door on the outside. it was just so dark it was hard to tell. The voice was but in by dover.

@ElevatorMan2012 It is a 4903 horn or speaker/strobe. If they put a horn in such a small area like that and it went off I would have my ears blown off. It better be a speaker/strobe.
