  • Like the few Dinosaur bones we have unearthed and put on display in a natural history museum , You Tube Videos are the only evidence we have of the great Southern Rock bands that once roamed the Musical Landscape of the Southern United States but have long since become extinct..

  • I'm not from, nor live in the south. However, you have to be an idiot not to appreciate the south and southern rock. Grew up listening to Marshall, Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 special, etc. Great music then. Great music now.

  • @cessna65423 Bravo! Great comment - so true. I love YouTube for all the great rock and roll that we might never know without it...

  • Check out the Never Brothers on 24 hours

  • Just a kick ass song by some good ole boys!!!

  • music was important back then, so the dreams and emotions and thoughts and love and tears all flowed into the songs, and the musicians played the heck out their instruments....lol no like the iphpone of today, and the apps, there is a bit of robotic and rap in todays music, the corporate is there, but not the soul, not the musicians, note that if you take the instruments out of todays songs...you wont notice...the music is all about the money at the end of the road today, not art

  • @cessna65423 AMEN!!!! southern rock will never die

  • I became a MTB devotee the first time I ever saw them in concert and never missed one of their concerts for decades after.... saw them in county fairs, large stadiums, Rock Superbowls (anyone remember that awesome insane concert series in Tampa, Florida?), a race track, small venues -- whereever. Met them once in Orlando when they were opening for Black Oak Arkansas.

  • ONE BADASS SONG.

  • Sorry! Tyops! Can't spell and type...but you know what I meant! Love these guys!

  • I remember seeing this band in 1976 fekk in love with them

1 Mingkewood eat your heart out! THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!!!!!

  • To imyour99, you need to change your date. I saw this band several times, the original band. And I was born after 1954, 1957, so get your dates correct. We both know what you are talking about, and you are correct. Some say the seventies sucked, not with this band. Not with Charlie Daniels, not with The Outlaws. So I was alive back then and I loved the music.
